This important aspect of the death of Christ will be considered in full later. Ransom. When used in relation to the death of Christ, the word has reference to the price paid by Christ on the cross by which redemption was wrought. The ransom was paid to God, not man or Satan, and is an expression relating to the act of redemption. Reconciliation. In human relations,
